Life After Hatteras

After the sale of Hatteras we received a number of “what are you going to do now?” questions.  The origin of Hatteras traces to its predecessor, a privately managed REIT founded nearly 20 years ago that is managed to this day by South Street Capital Management.  With our long track record and infrastructure in place, we believe we have much to offer to investors looking for income in real estate backed assets.  We have been exploring various opportunities, such as separately managed accounts, focusing on alternative fixed income assets and other compelling real estate investments.  Along these lines, we are in the early stages of registering as an RIA so we can better serve current and future clients. The team at SSC Management has been busy and is excited and looking forward to the next 20 years.
